What does DiSC mean?

It's an acronym that stands for the four main personality dimensions described in the DISC profile: dominance, influence, leadership, and steadiness.

People with a "D" personality tend to be confident and put an emphasis on accomplishing results.

People with internal, or i, personalities tend to be more interested in people, and place more focus on relations and influencing others than people with other internal personalities.

People who are S-type personalities tend to be reliable and are noticeable for cooperation and sincerity.

People with C personalities are experts and often apply high standards to make it a priority.

As phrased DiSC also measures the priorities, implying a result rather than an individual.
