At Learning Unlimited, we use several different behavioral assessments to help you develop your people. With hundreds of assessments available, one can easily be overwhelmed by the choices. Here are the ones we recommend.
The DiSC suite of products are those most frequently used by our clients: they are very accessible (i.e., easy to understand) and robust (i.e., both reliable and valid). Practically speaking, this makes for rapid learning: in the space of 3 hours, your team members will know more about themselves, their teammates and, most importantly, practical steps that they can take to improve teamwork NOW. Your people learn a common language to improve communication, teamwork, relationships and productivity.
The Everything DiSC suite includes ED Workplace, Management, Sales, Work of Leaders, 363 for Leaders and the just-released Productive Conflict assessment. Get more detail on each of these stellar tools.
StrengthsFinder is a Web-based assessment that is premised on the concept that if one can identify their strengths and talents and build on those then the person will be more productive, perform better and be more engaged. Gallup’s Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment helps people identify their talents. Clifton StrengthsFinder results give people a way to discuss and develop their unique combination of skills, talents, and knowledge — also known as strengths.
At LUC, we primarily use StrengthsFinder with our Leadership Coaching clients but can readily help you implement this tool in whatever way might best suit your needs.
Although we have a core group of assessment tools that we default to, our experience allows us to easily work with whatever assessment tool best serves you. In addition to the assessments above, we will gladly work from and incorporate into training those that you currently favor, including Colors, Myers/Briggs, Predictive Index, Hogan Development Survey, The EQ-i 2.0, SOI and more.
